In the process of production of factories and mines, such as textile mills, sulphur factories, metal processing plants, coal mines, flour mills, sugar factories and grain depots, a large amount of combustible dust will be produced and suspended in the air. When the concentration of these industrial dusts reaches a certain degree, fires and explosions will be triggered if sparks or electrostatic discharge is encountered.
In order to recover this part of the dust, improve the workshop environment, and minimize the possibility of fire and dust explosion, it is necessary to use bag filter to remove dust, and use anti static dust filter material to prevent dust explosion caused by static electricity.
The anti static filter bag is to add conductive fiber to the base cloth of common needled felt or to add conductive fiber to the needle felt, so that the needle felt is antistatic. Usually, the dust in the production of flammable dust, such as flour mill, starch factory, grain depot, coal mine and other enterprises, are all at normal temperature, so the anti static dust filter cloth is usually using the normal temperature polyester material. But in some special industries, high temperature dust will also appear. At this time, the conductive fiber is added to the corresponding high temperature filter material, which can be made into high temperature anti static dust filter cloth. However, because of this relatively small working condition, there is not much demand for high-temperature anti-static dust filter bags.
